True Food Kitchen - Pasadena

About 5 years ago, I went to the True Food Kitchen in Santa Monica for dinner. Had a great time, the menu had a lot of options, and the food was good. But I don't live (or have projects) on that side of town now... Since my first visit, the menu has changed a bit (for the better) See my first visit HERE Hearing of a healthy restaurant opening in Pasadena, I wasn't thinking it would be  True Food Kitchen , but am glad it's them. It's been years and I was invited to the  Pasadena preview. The Preview for invited guests was held the weekend before the opening.  See What Jay Eats... Kings of Fish at the San Pedro Fish Market

It's been years since I've been here, so when Tanaya's Table invited me to a  seafood tasting here, I knew it would be some good stuff! You may have seen San Pedro Fish Market in the " Kings of Fish " First stop, the fish market... Red Snapper looking good. Now THAT's Yellowtail! They have all kinds of seafood, ALL KINDS of Seafood! Lobsters, crab, varieties of shrimp, clams, mussels, and then there's a large selection of fish too... Before leaving the seafood counter, don't forget to buy some of their hot sauce (if you like spicy) for your seafood tray. Just for the Halibut When you've picked out all of your seafood and your transaction is complete, you can take your seafood to have it cooked anyway you want. They'll cook it for you at no charge.
