Hawaii Food Adventure: Day 7

Hawaii Food Adventure
2011
Day 7

With the Inaugural Hawai'i Food and Wine Festival now over, it was time to head over to Maui. But before I left Oahu, I told Wedge Lee that I'd stop by to have lunch.

Ono To Go

South King Street and Sheridan

Met up with some Twitter folks there too...

Pulehu Salt Rub Short Rib Bowl
$7.00

The meat was flavorful and cooked just right,
I opted for the mac salad and white rice

I'll be back for this again!
I did try some of the other meats,
well seasoned and great flavor too.

Thanks Wedge!

Maui Bound

Once I arrived, was met by @DaniaEdibleHI and headed over to Star Noodle in Lahaina. I've read lots of good things about Star Noodle and have wanted to go for sometime now. Met up with some of Maui's elite food people, like @lifeinparadise, and ordered the 'must haves' on the menu.

Star Kim Chee - Won Bok Cabbage, Ginger, Garlic

I've heard so much about the malasadas,
I just had to try.

Loved it with the dipping sauces
