Hawaii Food Adventure: Day 4

Hawaii Food Adventure
2011
Day 4

I had two items on my schedule today, one is a saimin tweet-up at Dillingham Saimin and the other is tonight's Hawai'i Food and Wine Festival, one of the main reasons why I'm here.

On my way to Dillingham Saimin, I thought the area seemed really familiar and remembered there's a manapua place nearby. The second block I drove down, FOUND IT!

Once I got my manapua, I headed back to Dillingham Saimin. A few people were already there and got to meet everyone. But lunch was all about saimin...

A Spectacular Ending
to a Great Evening!*

Times are changing, Hawaii isn't just about
loco moco and SPAM musubi anymore.

It's amazing what happens when local
farmers, ranchers, and chefs get together
to produce something magical.

Tonight was a celebration,
"Taste Our Love for the Land"

It was an Incredible Evening!
